1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, username, hashed password, account identifiers, age confirmation, timezone, content-mode choice, and information received if you sign in with Google.
• Content and activity: prompts, chats, character designs, scenarios, uploads, generated media, saved or published content, reports, and interactions with creators and characters.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, pages and features used, referral and campaign information, approximate location derived from IP, cookies, local-storage identifiers, and diagnostic, performance, and security logs.
• Communications: messages you send to support, survey responses, and other feedback.

Conversations and generated media may reveal intimate interests, sexual preferences, or other sensitive information. Please do not include information you do not want processed to provide the Service or personal information about another person without their permission.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide, personalize, and maintain conversations, characters, generated media, creator features, and account history;
• authenticate users, manage accounts, and provide support;
• moderate content, prevent abuse and fraud, enforce our rules, and protect users and the Service;
• analyze reliability, usage, referrals, and product performance and improve the Service;
• communicate service, security, billing, and account information and, where permitted, product updates;
• comply with law, resolve disputes, and establish or defend legal claims.

3. AI processing

We send the content and context needed to generate a response or media item to AI service providers and media-processing providers. This may include recent conversation history, character instructions, prompts, and uploaded or generated media. We also process content using safety systems to detect prohibited use. Do not submit confidential information that is not needed for your experience.

Our AI routing is configured to use AI service providers that do not use prompts or responses to train their models and that operate under zero-data-retention policies. They process chat content transiently to generate responses and perform safety checks, but do not retain that content after processing.

We may use interactions, feedback, and de-identified or aggregated data to evaluate and improve VenusX features and safety. We do not claim that private chats are public, and publishing a character is a separate choice.

4. How we disclose information

We may disclose information:

• to vendors that provide hosting, storage, content delivery, authentication, analytics, email, fraud-prevention, customer-support, moderation, and AI-generation services;
• to other users when you publish a character, creator profile, or other community content;
• to comply with law or valid legal process, enforce our agreements, investigate misuse, or protect rights, safety, and security;
• in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell private chat content or disclose it for advertising. We disclose private chat content to AI service providers only as needed to generate responses and perform safety checks. Those providers do not use that content for model training and do not retain it after processing. We may also disclose content when you direct us to, or when required for legal compliance, enforcement, or safety.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, preserve guest activity, measure traffic and conversions, understand feature use, and protect the Service. Analytics providers may receive identifiers and device, usage, and referral information. Browser controls can block or delete these technologies, but some features may stop working.

6. Your choices and rights

You can update certain account settings and delete individual chats or characters through the Service. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and appeal a refusal where applicable.

To exercise a privacy right or request account deletion, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We may verify your identity before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising applicable privacy rights.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

8. International processing

VenusX and its providers may process information in countries other than yours. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from the country where you live.

9. Children

VenusX is not directed to children and no one under 18 may use it. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
