Copyright & DMCA Policy
Effective November 5, 2026
VenusX respects copyright and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how to submit a copyright-infringement notice or counter-notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Copyright notices
If you believe material available through VenusX infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list if one notice covers multiple works.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it, such as its VenusX URL and character or account name.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Use the subject line “DMCA copyright notice.” Sending an incomplete notice may delay our ability to identify and respond to the claim.
What happens after a notice
We review notices that substantially comply with the DMCA and may remove or disable access to identified material. We may provide the notice and the claimant’s contact information to the affected user so that the user can understand the claim and submit a counter-notice. We may terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed or disabled because of a copyright notice and you believe that happened because of mistake or misidentification, you may send our Copyright Agent a written counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address—or, if your address is outside the United States, a federal district where Celestial Labs Inc. may be found—and accepting service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent.
We may forward a valid counter-notice to the original claimant. Unless the claimant tells us that a court action has been filed to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the material between 10 and 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
Misrepresentations and other complaints
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright notice or counter-notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). If your concern is not a copyright claim, use our Complaints Policy instead.
